Jackets Mania

The Jacket Mania began as a quest for a good leather jacket, when some friends and I were in the market for leather jackets.

We’d had it with having to choose between quick fashion and overpriced luxury. In one hand, there were luxury labels, which required investing over $1000, and on the other, fast-fashion, which required purchasing a product that would not last for years. What other choices did we have?

After much digging and testing, it was discovered that the reason for higher leather outerwear prices was due to a long supply chain of manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers, as well as expensive marketing campaigns. This meant that only a small portion of the money spent by customers went into the product itself.
